I watched All in The Family as a teenager. I was an adult when Married With Children first aired and never really got into it.

Carol O’Conner…amazing. He was a liberal man. That’s acting .

It depends on your style of humor. While All in the Family was a sitcom based on character studies, Married with Children was more of mindless comedy with a sex appeal to it, made solely for distraction.
