I just bought a video of one of my old favorites: Singin' in the Rain. My dad was an early screenwriter in Hollywood back during the advent of sound movies and he said the movie felt very authentic to him.

a new movie from this year that has really blown me away and i think its the best thing that was released in the last 5 years or so.
