Is this depression? I don't feel connected to God, and whatever I had with him I want it back. I also can think of women how I once used too?

Is this depression? or why do I hate this feeling. If make believe makes me feel high, I rather feel that, than be empty disillusioned zombie.

You might read "The Dark Night of the Soul" by John of the Cross.

It's from the 16th century, so if that's too heavy and old fashioned, you might prefer a modern commentary on it.

But he writes about that experience of feeling that God has become absent, and how after moving through that dark night, he discovered how God was there all along, and at the end of it all he felt closer to God than ever before.

I’m not religious but I once was long long ago. If that’s what you really want.. pray every single night before you go to bed. Everything you do throughout the day, involve god in it. Not just once a day, not just on Sundays. Every day and throughout the day. You’ll get closer again.

@Ceinwyn Perhaps, but I willing fully walked away from God for a while. As for the girls I used to think that was strange. Because I used to think a few women and two of them out all of them, I couldn't think about them or seem them how I saw them in my head.

@Ceinwyn My Soulmate was. is a sex worker and I mean a real soulmate. I still think about her and I'm working on myself hoping I will come across her again, I just want to to talk to her and see if she sets me free. I am Schizophrenic there's a reason why I was holding down myself to a few girls.
