Well that's unfortunate. My parents sure know how to crush dreams.

I mentioned wanting to get down to a size 2 because I'm back going to the gym every day again. Well they pretty much said with my bone structure it's not likely. I have broad shoulders and a stockier build thanks to crap genetics. They don't see it happening.

That's depressing.

If I would have listened to my parents I would have went nowhere in life.

@Firegod74 this.
As someone who goes to the gym a lot... do yourself the favor and shut the doubters out!

You have no idea how many people wanna drag you down to there level. Then once you achieve something, they'll turn around and act as if they have always been supportive!

Also even if you can't get down to a size 2, that doesn't mean you can't have a nice body! Just keep hitting squats and cardio and you'll look great.

Trust me, girls who go to the gym have a more firm body and guys definitely take notice.

Don't get demotivated and goodluck on your path

They said not likely but not impossible. Do the best you can with what you have and you’re going to succeed.

Indian men like broad shouldered women on the stockier side.

What Nobel prize did they win wich makes their opinion carry so much weight 🤔

Don't give those words a second thought. Just carry on with your plans and realize your goal.

Anything a person can conceive and can believe, they can achieve. 🤗

Tell them its THEIR fault ( your bone structure)....lol some parents actually love blaming kids for everything even bone structure. And do it anyway. Then , maybe don’t build too much muscle around shoulders but more at hip area 🤔🤔

Dieting is what takes the weight off - the gym helps with tone and cardio - so it not only makes you look better, but helps you feel better. It's also a very great way to reduce stress and anxiety. I hope you go!
You are a perfect height ... be the look you have been given ... and to do it sensationally

Are your parents usually naysayers when you apprise them of things you want to accomplish ?
IAmNothing · 26-30, F
@IAmNothing Sorry to hear that. 😞
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 26-30, F
It’s discouraging to be told you can’t achieve something. If working towards a specific number is a motivator for you absolutely do that. But as someone who’s worked hard to lose a lot of weight try to focus on the good choices you’re making, the progress happening. Not so much about a clothing size or a number on the scale. You getting healthier is amazing. I hope your results match your efforts. Best of luck on your journey!! 💪
