I Battle Depression

Problem is it just comes and goes. But when it does come it comes in waves. For no reason at all really.

If I knew why it came or what caused it I could deal with it and fix it.

Problem is, like I said, I have no idea where it comes from.

And I am feeling extreme depression right now, to the point if just wanting to shut down for a while 😪

I get down from time to time and feel depressed, but I’m sure it’s nothing like clinical depression. Planning and or going to some place I really like helps - like the beach.

@McNaughty if it wasnt the middle of winter here I would. And thanks ⚘

@TheDude1988 yeah, winter puts a damper on the beach for sure, but there may be other places.
Samesies- but sometimes I can feel it sneaking in.
Extra sunlight helps sometimes.
SAM-e helps most of the time.
A change of routine helps sometimes.
And then there are times like the last two weeks where nothing helps to get me out of this deep, dark hole.

I’m sorry you’re in your own.

@TwiddlerofThumbs thanks, I appreciate that ⚘

If your mind and body needs to shut down, let it...
sometimes the best thing you can do is feel all that you’re feeling and allow it to move through you.
If you start to wage a war with it, your giving it your negative focus...

Love and light to you.

@Gravedigger In an ideal world that would be the beat case.

Problem is I cant afford it financially to shut down. That requires me taking time off work and I dont want to use 1 of my 2 weeks vacation to do that

Think of all the positive things you provide.

Take some time to reload. Find something that helps you find control again whether its exercise, cooking, computing games, just take some time to get back on track
