How do you take out your anger and frustration/helplessness

I tried punching the wall a few times, seemed like the most harmless thing to do, but it didn't help much lol

I have a punching bag. Same idea but doesn’t fuck up my hands like punching a wall does 😅

@summersong I am glad that it does help you. Wish I could keep one too.

@switchfoot they do take up a fair amount of space. I hope you find something that works for you!

@summersong nothing works for me at the moment

I clean and take it out on my broom and mop. 😂 Scrubbing whatever surfaces I can until I cant move my hands to hit things just works for me.

@that1funnyblonde that's one good way to go about it

I am ashamed to say i used to have unhealthy coping mechanisms in dealing with anger and frustration. Now i just talk to my partner about it

That's self-harm. You'll damage your hands this way. 😞 Rather buy a punching bag. I know I should too.

I punched my thigh last month and overdid it so I try my best to not do it again. Otherwise throwing a wet rag against something hard that you won't damage somewhat works but it's not satisfying enough.

@CrazyMusicLover oh I did this after a long time, it's better than to have broken stuff lying around. I never break stuff. And it was more like banging on a door my knuckles weren't pointed at the wall, I am a coward at times 😂

@switchfoot I think broken things are still better than broken hands. 😅 You won't grow another pair.

@CrazyMusicLover agreed, but yeah i didn't know what else to do
