No, that was the one thing I could not do. It's happened to me, I wish not to detail, but that was years of learning to trust again with her. We did in our own way, but some conclusions come to you don't have to be with them anymore, yet they know you know them in a more intimate way than some ever can.

@awildsheepschase im glad you've healed. The person i betrayed has days when shes just hurtful in words. I just always wonder how long it will last , how much can i really take. I never intended to hurt i , i know its hard for her to believe this given her hurt. But i hope she one day knows how much i love her and regret the lies

@Lee2025 It's a complicated story, but the bottom line is that I knew she loved me and only me. She made that clear to the men she cheated with. She was free to date, but not to have sex. The sex started when they discovered that two strong rum and Cokes made her clothes fall off and her legs spread. When I finally asked her to stop dating others, she stopped cold turkey. Never dated again.

I never betrayed someone in my life . In fact I'm the other way and you can get yourself into a lot of shit being that way too .
I'm usually these days better off on my own .
A lot of the attractions that I had left me and it wasn't by choice . It was when things go horribly wrong and you end up empty relying on others for your happiness and fail and doing it again and fail .
The moral of the story is you loose hope with life that's why a God of your own understanding is very important cause your higher power never leaves you down .
You be left empty if your depending on others for your happiness and guess what and it's sad to say it but it happened me with every department in my life .
Do you know how I know all of this ?
Cause I went to take my own life 3 times in 6 weeks , loosing a lot of weight, best friend died in the mean time of that time .
I couldn't rely on people cause every time someone or somebody would pull away it way a sign of shock and Emptiness came into my soul and that was the time we're I depended on my higher power for happiness
There's no other way or else you be left suicidal

Yes. Most of the time I didn’t get busted. But I did once or twice and I wasn’t interested in regaining their trust. Sad. But true. But there’s a context too long to explain.

@nevergiveup thats the thing , i dont think theres ever fully healing, triggers can set off whenever. I just hope you try practice kindness towards your current wife and shes not paying for someones else ill treatment towards you.

@BiasForAction im hopeful that at some point we will reconcile. For now i wabt to prioritize my healing and i hope she heals too from the pain my lies inflicted. Shes an amazing person , she didnt deserve the lies (not that anyone does)

@BiasForAction thank you. She asked for time which was rather confusing , i didnt know if this also meant no contact.
She called a few minutes ago , i asked her to clarify what time is for her , does it mean she would prefer me not to contact her. She said it simply means i shouldnt rush her to be okay or push for reconciliation.
Please read my 1st post to ger the back story... im willing to do anything to regain her trust , lying wasnt worth it and i just pray i handle situations differently. Im doing the work, introspected and even seeked professional help. Hurting someone you love recks you , well thats if you truly did love them.
