How do you usually celebrate your birthday?

SW-User
I book a table for one at a nice restaurant.
Wiseacre · F
One??@SW-User
SW-User
@Wiseacre Yes since my wife died just me.
SW-User
And others tell me happy birthday.
I don't like to talk about it much and hate big celebrations but don't mind gestures from kind people
SW-User
With a memorable moment . I’ll go somewhere different for the day usually some scenic place for a long walk or hike and just emerge myself in nature and it’s beauty .
Of course a little wine 🍷and something sweet 🍰later on to mark the occasion 😊
scorpiolovedeep · 46-50, M
Eating cake … no party…no decorations whatsoever.

Have a good lunch / dinner at a restaurant.

I dislike fanfare…
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
Once my husband handed me $30 and told me to go buy myself a birthday cake!!!
Wallpaper89 · 31-35, F
@Jenny1234 that is so rude😳😳
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@Wallpaper89 he is rude. But as I’ve mentioned here at sw before, his parents never taught him manners and I’ve had to raise him and teach him everything. I deserve s fucking gold medal for getting him to where he is today
Nanoose · 61-69, M
By watching my fireworks and my parades. I share the same birthday as Canada so there is always parades and fireworks. Cheers!
GovanDUNNY · M
Play my Bagpipes and drink a wee dram
MasterDvdC · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 Besides a Scotsman isn't drunk as long as he can hold onto a blade of grass and not fall off the face of the earth
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@MasterDvdC Well I think the Scots are permanently sotted. Centuries ago he Irish sent them the bagpipes as a joke and the drunken Scots still haven't caught on.
MasterDvdC · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 Just so you know I love the sound of bagpipes. But I do appreciate the joke
LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
Alone, by choice.

I spent a lot of miserable bdays wishing I would've stayed home instead of saying yes to a party or plans someone else made. When I hit my 40s I started a new tradition, I pick one thing from my Bucket List and do that.
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@LucyFuhr I love that bucket list tradition
LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
@Jenny1234 Thank you! It's one of the best things I ever did for myself and I finally look forward to birthdays instead of hating the whole month LOL
RebelFox · 36-40, F
Like everyday
ZashaKitty · 26-30, F
going to beach at night with some friends. Having some drinks and just talking and relaxing and the odd swim
i love doing it every year with friends on our birthdays
Tminus6453 · M
On SW...😅🥴
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
Kids and grandkids come over and we have a feast with cake and icecream. The feast may be steaks or Chinese food or East Indian food but the cake and ice cream or mandatory.
Canuckle · 51-55, M
I actually don’t enjoy my birthday. It is as a result of my 16th birthday. I swore I would always treat my birthday the same as any other day.
MasterDvdC · 61-69, M
Don't usually do anything special but this year I'm thinking of spending it at a local dungeon.
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@MasterDvdC what does one do at a dungeon?
MasterDvdC · 61-69, M
@Jenny1234 Any number of kinky things. My hope is to get a fantasy fulfilled

At this age a small get-together with friends is ideal. We might go to a bar and a restaurant and otherwise spend the day together.
LongHairedCougar · 51-55, F
Party with the loved ones and someone special privately at my farms or perhaps holidaying away from all the hustle bustle
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
These days by doing nothing except maybe a dinner with family.

I don't really care much anymore
For as many days as I can. It falls on Memorial day weekend, so atleast 5 days.
Briggett · T
Take them out for a day or night out on the town dressed in our best.
Wallpaper89 · 31-35, F
@Briggett That sounds so fun dear☺️☺️☺️☺️
exexec · 61-69, C
We don't because it is always near Thanksgiving so we don't need another celebration.
PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F
Honestly by treating it like any other day. I don’t like the fuss.
Lostpoet · M
Crawling up in a blanket and waiting until midnight.
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
Usually with family, and my wife's strawberry shortcake 🍰
By either having dinner out with my family or doing nothing
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Spend it with my Niece. She and I share the same day.
By myself. They're meaningless to me after 35.
SW-User
Usually would buy food for myself
Wiseacre · F
Eating out...not a big deal!

Usually, with loved ones, but this year I spent it at home with my sister visiting, watching the Twilight Zone marathon.
Briggett · T
@bijouxbroussard not a bad way to spin your birthday.
So every year it’s the Zone that’s perfect.
Happy belated birthday my friend!!
I usually don't.
Wol62 · 51-55, M
