I watched Vance telling a rally how they found 19 loaded handguns stashed around his grandmother's house. He said it occurred to them that because she was old and frail she always wanted to be in reaching distance of a loaded gun to protect herself and her family. The audience clapped and laughed with delight. Vance said this was the America they were fighting for and everyone applauded.
They're delighted at an anecdote that explains how a frail old woman was so fucking terrified that she stashed 19 loaded handguns all over her house. And they wonder why we think they're unhinged.

@CestManan To be fair, there are generally three types of people on the Right. Republicans, who just want policies to help the rich. Conservatards, who just believe whatever propaganda the Republicans put out. And Nazis, who are ideologically committed to Nazism. The Nazis used to be a small minority on the Right, but under Trump, they've exploded in size. Nazism is now a mainstream ideology on the Right, and the Republicans are going along with them in order to win elections. This won't end well.
