Some people want to keep living so they can see what happens next. Is that enough?

Someone will start a war; a liberal will be elected president; a conservative will be elected president; someone will win the World Series; there will be a new social program that will take forever to pass...then no one will want to cut it.....just doesn't work for me.

That's one of the only reasons I stick around. I don't have a stake in the outcome. I'm just here for the show. And, when it's my time to leave, I just hope it happens quickly.

I say I do not want to see how bad things will get.
The future is going to be bleak for whole swathes of people.

I watch the TV show, Million Dollar Listing NY and shake my head in disgust.
The super rich paying tens of millions of dollars for apartments in New York. A sick world we live in.
