Some people want to keep living so they can see what happens next. Is that enough?

Someone will start a war; a liberal will be elected president; a conservative will be elected president; someone will win the World Series; there will be a new social program that will take forever to pass...then no one will want to cut it.....just doesn't work for me.

That’s what I’ve been saying for over 25 years after a man I knew at work asked me what my excuse was for living. I popped off and said “Morbid curiosity…I just stick around to see what will go wrong next.”
