How do you find someone that 'gets' you? And how do you know when to give up?

To answer your question. You find them by listening and talking. It's that simple. I have found the love of my life and that's exactly how I found him. We talked and we listened. And we realized that our lives mirror. We are so much alike and have so much in common that it's just scary. And every day we are finding out something new something more that we have in common.

Honestly, I get what you mean. It’s a strange kind of loneliness when you can be surrounded by people and still feel unseen. I haven’t found that connection either, but I like to think there’s still time.
You might feel like a ghost ship, but you still have light. Someone will see it eventually.

Not everyone will get the luck I did, there was someone who picked me up out of the dirt, it was Jesus, lol Just kidding.. but no she brought me into her World and made me feel like something when I was nothing.

Not without challenges, arguments, a whole lot of responsibility, frustration, and care that goes both ways requiring patience of both concerned. When you have it, you don't know until it has been a while it takes time to sink in.

The only thing you can do is try to take care of yourself, have an open mind, and be sincere.

No don't ever give up. I am telling you what I know. Atleast give yourself the chance to find out because you deserve it.

And.....you never gove up until you find what you are looking for.
