How do you find someone that 'gets' you? And how do you know when to give up?

I haven't succeeded yet, so I've given up for all intents and purposes knowing my ship probably sailed long ago never to come back to port.

I feel like a perpetual 'ghost ship' in the big sea of humanity.

To answer your question. You find them by listening and talking. It's that simple. I have found the love of my life and that's exactly how I found him. We talked and we listened. And we realized that our lives mirror. We are so much alike and have so much in common that it's just scary. And every day we are finding out something new something more that we have in common.
