So you die and at the pearly gates you have 3 options:

Poll - Total Votes: 20
Option 1
Option 2
Option 3
Show Results
You can only vote on one answer.
Option 1: Go straight to heaven (all is forgiven). Meet all your deceased friends and family that are there. You get permanent health and youth (you get to pick your favorite age). No pain, no illnesses. Everyone is honest and caring.

Option 2: Be born again, a the same time and place you were born, to the same parents. This will allow you to make different decisions and avoid the mistakes you made in this life. You won't "clearly remember" your current life, but you'll have a sense of people you want to stay away, and choices that may seem particularly appealing or particularly unappealing, based on your experiences in your current life.

Option 3: Be born again, at any time and place of your choice, to the parents of your choice (you'll have to pick whatever parents are available at the time and place you choose, though). Yes, you can pick being the children of filthy rich parents if you want, but be aware that, after you are born, the situation may change. Maybe your parents go bankrupt, or go to jail for having done illegal stuff. Or they may be they become addicted to alcohol or/and drugs and become abusive parents. Also you may end up surrounded by "friends" who only care about your wealth and will backstab you at any time. You get the picture: choosing to be born with a silver spoon is far from a guarantee of a happy life thereafter.

What's your pick?

Well, if I took option 2 I could possibly make different decisions and avoid some of the mistakes I've made in this life. BUT, no idea if I'd meet my spouse and have my wonderful children. Take a different path and poof they've gone out of existence? How could I do that to them?

I'm surprised no one wants to give it another go. But yes I'd pick #1 too!
good question.... I choose option 3. although you'd think I was born into a good time and place. I think people put too much emphasis on that.

I'd like to say 2 or 3, but I would be so shocked that I'd made it to heaven that I'd just take that rather than gambling that I'd make it there twice.
Option 2, possibly...bc I think your opt 1 isn't actually Heaven.

Opt 3 unlikely
@SomeMichGuy

My reasoning, too.
I chose #2, would like to try it over again and see if the final result would be any different

Option 4
I’m working on it!

Option 2 . I’d have a chance of making better choices.

Number 3. But I must keep my memories or it's the same as being erased from existence.

I'm not coming back to this mess.

@GeistInTheMachine Anytime or place. Not necessarily has to be this world 😏
TheYawnArchive · 46-50, M
Option 4 i'd rather pick where there's just nothing, nada, zilch.
Lilymoon · F
Option 1 seems to be the only logical choice
