Losing a child
SW-User
@nedkelly Yes, and the worst place on Earth is a children’s graveyard
Carazaa · F
@SW-User Yes, but what people don't always realize that the soul does not die only the body and we will see them one day!
SW-User
@Carazaa I somehow think you have not been there. I hope you never will.

The Psalmist seems to know this place well. He shouts out in anger and despair in the opening verses of Psalm 77.

Mourning the death of a child is beyond despair.

specman · 51-55, M
There is nothing worse than living a life without Jesus. Then dying and going to Hell.
SW-User
@specman And not loving your neighbour in between.

That must be shear hell to think only of yourself.
specman · 51-55, M
@SW-User sometimes I struggle.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@specman Yes it is.

@SW-User Lice and death are "one". Both happen at the same time. This is why Buddhists will always speak of "rebirth" (moment by moment) and not "reincarnation".
SW-User
@SW-User I’m not Buddhist I don’t believe that
SW-User
@SW-User That's OK, simply sharing.

I wish you well for the future.
JovialMoose · 51-55, M
I’m going to guess that losing a child would be high on my list.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@JovialMoose I had a miss carriage and even if I didn't know I was pregnant until that point, it was traumatic
@JovialMoose Yes. 😞

@ExperienceDLT That comes to us all. Not a pleasant consequence of age.

But it happened to me once before at Uni, when three of my friends died. And that was quite unexpected.
@SW-User yea it is an unpleasant part of life
