To not be disappointed by others. I'm still trying to get through it but I think once I do my life will get a lot better.

Acceptance comes and goes .
Acceptance is going through grief and not battling it ( never ever get there fully).
And religious terms about acceptance ( don't leave dark thoughts come into your head (
Also if your in a dark place don't add to it and go through the pain you"ll get out of it )

I'm sorry bringing religious terms into it but that's all how I can describe it .
I had psychosis for 3 years when I was 21 -24 and came out of it through prayer and acceptance but never fully out of state of mind what you call having peace all of the time .

If they wanted to..., they would've tired.
If they wanted to get to know you, they would've tried.

I keep having to relearn this lesson over and over. I keep repeating the same mistakes

Not exactly the same but near to it.
That yes, you can build better relationships when love is already the core of it.
But that love is there or not.
The sad thing is that is possible to loose a love and / or it´s quality when you have it if both don´t work to keep it alive.
But it´s from difficult to just wishful thinking to make it be if it con´t come.
AND
Even in the best of worlds, love itself may be not enough.
