Wisdom, or encoragement presents itself with impeccable timing, directly relevant to my needs each day.

I hear from both kids every day. If they’re good then I am.

I see, smell, feel, taste the woods and nature. The one and only thing that never lets me down. It is life unfiltered.

I tried an experiment one time. I forcibly prevented myself from doing what I really knew needed doing at all cost, but chose instead to hide in the closet to see if the world would somehow adjust to my tardy behavior.

To my surprise, though I should not have been surprised at all, the world somehow adjusted my whereabouts without my input and I ended up arriving where I was otherwise suppose to be and got there when I was originally suppose to be there.

What I learned from this exercise is that we cannot 'not' do exactly what had been seemingly 'pre-written' in some kind of script of life for each of us, which immediately told me that whatever happens was also part of the script.

This means, if we were suppose to not succeed, will will not succeed. If we are suppose to witness a certain outcome that we desire, it will happen.

The bottom line is, we don't control our fate, nor can we speedup or slowdown the natural process of it.

@swirlie Hm but entering this practice long enough, might be a way to exiting what you call fate.
Repetition through decades can indeed be a game changer.
Also, gathering all of our available resources in a single moment, can too affect those webs of life.
It is natural, we are all connected in story. Exiting the orbit takes a great amount of energy, but it is possible 🌸

@Boeing
Yes, I use the word fate very loosely because I don't regard myself as a fatalist.
