Two events that changed my life - Adopting my kids. Every day has been a battle of trauma, attachment and additional needs but so very worth it. Also suddenly loosing my husband last year was a massive life change which I am still trying to adjust to.

My son, his birth changed my life , his death changed my world. Now I just live alongside his absence.

When I became a parent that was pretty life-changing.
And now that I lost my husband.
Probably the two most life changing events in my life.

Divorcing my husband and then caring for and losing my father. For the first time in my life I was completely alone.

The birth of my son, it changed my life for the better. I had a reason to be a better person.

When I stopped drinking. I gained clarity unlike any that I had had previously in my life.

Birth of my first born. I felt connected to humanity in a way I never felt before

Hearing The Beatles for the first time, in January 1964. I was 13.

That first beer at 17. :'( Took me until 60 or so to get free of alcohol.

The moment my best friend introduced me to her boyfriend and I immediately knew I had to spend the rest of my life with him

I've lived a long life, so there are many things. Every single one changed me fundamentally.
