What was the most difficult time in your life ??

The Death in an accident of my Fiancé a couple of months before our wedding,☹☹☹. Family, friends and a brilliant Grief Councillor got me through it.

When my wife was in hospital 5yrs ago seriously ill and the senior doctor told me there was nothing more they could do for her.... She died a week later...

I guess right now. Fairly recent loss of a parent. It has definitely been tough.

The last decade. I've had increasing PTSD, life feels small and I feel non-existent many days. I am hanging by a thread the last few years. Therapists don't offer anything and nod😧
I'll say people here have helped me feel uplifted , more than therapy, so that's something I'm grateful for🌼

After college. I hadn’t worked in three years so no relevant experience making me unemployable in anything except my chosen profession. It took me almost a year to find something. So much tension at home with my parents. It was a truly horrible time in my life.

Right after I got married. My mother passed away before my wedding and my daddy 6 mo after. My PTSD was unrestrained and I didn't care. My husband left me 6 months later because I was so horrible and out of control.

I hit rock bottom in 2012/2013 when my father was in final stage of cancer.

Could not sleep,could not focus at work, was angry and just frustated.

Anxiety took over me.

2021, losing my son.

When I was lost in my early adulthood
When my wife got diagnosed with cancer
Deaths of course are tough.

I guess I don't want to think about. Peace and a calm life have now been achieved, and dwelling on past miseries accomplishes nothing for me.

Having our oldest boy in the PICU and almost losing him. Watching him fight for his life was so hard knowing there wasn't anything I could do to make him ok

Watching my wife deteriorate for 5 years before passing away from an incurable illness.

I think now is hard. Parenting my parents and seeing them age.

Losing both parents in the same year

I haven't had many bad times, but I was most miserable during my second year of college. Engineering school was hard, and I only got to see my girlfriend once or twice a month. Meanwhile, she was dating other guys every week.

The week i graduated high school and my parents and 3 siblings were killed by a drunk driver.

finding out my ex was cheating and going through the divorce

Finally realizing certain family members are toxic and having to let them go.

Struggling with addiction and trying to sober up. I'm glad it's all over now, but that was the damndist mountain to ever climb.

14 years in foster care ,well most of it except for when i got trafficked.

Raising 3 children alone

The death of my son when my ex wife was eight and a half months pregnant.

Slogging through it right now. Hopefully just a few months until the exit plan is completed and the new journey starts.

Well, me finally surrendering to it

You ask that like it’s ever not been difficult.
