@mindstruggle It's a shame that any of us have to go through this.
It all still feels alien to me and I keep having to remind myself that it's only been 100 days... I'm allowed to still feel raw about it if that's how I feel. I just don't get to cry too much because that will make me sick, too.
Sometimes, we go through things that change us forever, we can't go back to who we were but we can heal and move forward. Unfortunately, that's a long and hard process that requires self patience and a degree of acceptance that it's okay to be here for now, you are working on it and one day you'll be strong again... just not today.
You're certainly not alone in going through this, though some of us try to bury it deep down inside or dissociate to appear like they are handling it better than they feel they are - like I said, I've been using at least two of my identities to appear happy and not crying to the point where my eyes and face get sore.
