Since vacations started, I've done nothing but watch Netfilx so feel unproductive and useless. But hey, I'm on vacations! This year was so stressful, I deserve spending my time the way I like!
For a vacation, I always book a hotel far from the city with a restaurant, pool and near the beach...can't wait to see the fusion of food at buffet breakfast.
When our children were with us, our vacations involved traveling 800 miles to GA to visit family. We did a lot of fishing, swimming, and visiting. We had two special trips to Disney World and a few trips to Florida beaches. Once the children grew up, our vacations evolved to trips to visit family. Nothing exciting. We do weekend trips for excitement.
Sleep i used to enjoy getting drunk but i dont drink anymore so food and sleep are my favorite. Weed if from a dispensary; it has been a long time for that too.
Going to the beach Playing in the waves Ride bikes Going out to breakfast Dinner at fine restaurants Shopping Relax at night overlooking the ocean, her with rosè or champagne , me with a preroll.
I had this idea that my ideal vacation would probably be to take a month off at a beachside hotel room reading all the books I have never had time to read.
We vacation in our motorhome. We enjoy traveling. Seeing new places. Meeting new people. Trying the local restaurants. We enjoy seeing the country and all the new places. 🙂🙂🙂
@Glitter22 It's actually very nice. Once you load it before leaving there is no carrying suit cases. We have a full size residential refrigerator and a kitchen. We even have a washer and dryer on board. While driving the passengers have full access to the bathroom and kitchen. There is no more pulling into gas stations only to find a filthy bathroom. The motorhome is as clean as you keep it. There is no wondering who slept in the bed last or when the sheets were washed and changed last. Here is what the interior looks like on a travel day.

@Glitter22 It would definitely be possible. So far our longest trip has been seven weeks. You can even do a load of laundry while traveling down the road.
