I think we all degree, that the timing could throw up some flags (unless he just read a message from her... that could of been sent before)

As for the emjois, that depnds on if he's an emjoi person and how loose he is with them... some people give give away emjois like they're nothing. Or because they're in the Christmas spirit.

This has been playing on my mind a lot.
He complains about her a lot. Says he keeps her on as his kid likes her. For those confused, of course it's his kids nanny not his.
He is a loving guy. But this just feels weird. Maybe he is just in the Christmas spirit but to text her and send a heart emoji as well as thanking her for the year (They have fought a lot). It just seems weird. There must be feelings there on his side or he is just doing it for his son's sake which hopefully is the answer?

I'm serious though. I'd be more concerned about the kisses, because I can justify a heart. Even though I only use hearts for people I love or people I'm flirting with or good friends. The yellow heart would be appropriate which signifies friendship. Red hearts signify deep or romantic love. Let's say he doesn't know anything about hearts or emojis. Well, she knows what a X means! She could have responded with "You, too" and a smiley face or something. But, kisses? Bad news.

@eMortal They were good friends and close before he got with me. But nothing romantic, I didn't think so anyway, now I kind of question that. 😐

I know the heart (love emoji) didn't surprise her, because she responded back with kisses! xx means "kisses you twice".

Unless you're subconsciously turned on by the thought of him being with another woman, I'd see what's really going on.
