Would you be concerned about this?

My boyfriend of 16 months has not been on good terms with his nanny lately. That's why I was surprised when this morning, he texted her at 8AM this morning with 'Merry Christmas Emily 🎄❤🎅. Thanks for all you have done this year.

She replied with 'Merry Christmas xx'

Can't help but dislike the fact he put a heart on it and texted her early. Like she was on his mind and yet he says he does not like her 😕

Am I being unreasonable? I read it as he got up to go to the bathroom

@Jenni855 I mean I can't tell but something emotional happened between them. They seem to have agreed to be just friends.
Think about it. Why would dude be having beef with the nanny if it's not kids related? My guess is they probably became good friends, lovers or just an unreciprocated love situation.
