I usually don't sleep until i'm dying of sleep.
That or i stay completely still and tell myself that i'm gonna "meditate" because my brain thinks meditation time means "nap time"
I know my way around this bitch

@SW-User Yeah, you sound like you gotta problem with that?
SW-User
I just naturally have a problem with you. 😌 Go sleep. @SailorMarz
SailorMarz · F
@SW-User it's the weekend, so sleeping isn't really necessary buddy lol

I literally have to take benadryl. Nothig else works, and I have tried EVERYTHING except for prescrition sleep meds.
Peaceful · F
@DearAmbellina2113 it has been linked to increased dementia risk so I hope you can find a better alternative.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Peaceful Yeah I wish. I hated taking it, but nothing else worked and I was starting to have hallucinations from sleep deprivation.

I sleep an hour then I wake up. Then I might sleep another 2 hours then I'm awake again. Finally after about 5 hours I just get up.

@SW-User Does that happen often?
SW-User
@Gusman every night
Gusman · 61-69, M
@SW-User That must be really heartbreaking. Waking up tired most days
SW-User
Sometimes I read, sometimes I try to meditate, sometimes I just lay there for hours fruitlessly
Gusman · 61-69, M
@SW-User Very frustrating.Laying there hour after hour. Night is so long but not long enough when it is time to get up.
SW-User
@Gusman true

I take Benadryl but I still wake up in the middle of the night or too early.
Listen to audio books in the dark.
Spoiledbrat · F
I do that. I read in the dark too. @PuppetOnStrings
@Spoiledbrat I hope you don't strain your eyes 🌹 ..
Spoiledbrat · F
No just my kindle. @PuppetOnStrings

What I used to do was play a CD called, "A month in the Brazilian Forest" plus a CD of the surf breaking on continuous play. Two CD players, would drift off listening to the rain, thunder and surf and wake to the same.
