Once. I was 18 and with the help of my dad, my dad's friend, and the police we got rid of a guy I had been dating. The guy had no soul and found joy in tormenting people physically, sexually, emotionally, and psychologically. Some people didn't believe me and made fun of me. After it was over I remember standing in the shower. I felt my mind literally start to slip like it was getting dragged down by heavy weights. I grabbed the shower head to keep myself on my feet and then I had to mentally pull myself back together and get a grip on my sanity.

@morrgin Oh god, sorry that you had to gone through that experience! 😟

@Disturbed12 me too. Sadly he is still out there hurting people and children.

I believe that I have. It happened 4 months after my mom passed away. All of the emotions that I've been suppressing came to the surface. I wept uncontrollably, the pain was so overwhelming that I couldn't even stand or walk. I took very strong sleeping pills that night, well 3 of them to be precise, and they didn't have much effect. It's the closest I've come to attempting suicide.

@Originalme I'm sorry to hear that your mom passed away. The pain to lose someone so close is intolerable. But you must carry on. A song which may resemble your feelings:

I’ve had 2 so far, one 2 years ago and one when I was 19 and both of those times suicide was attempted. That’s why I’m scared of a potential third one.

@SW-User May I ask what happened? 😓
SW-User
My first one was from being bullied, growing up, one incident cost me my chances of potential fatherhood, but what really triggered it off was a few events one after another, my first girlfriend cheated on me and told me while I was visiting my dying grandfather, went through heroin addiction, got kicked out of home, lived in a hand affiliated neighbourhood, had my involvement in it too. I got caught on my way to drive my car off a cliff, and arrested.

Second time, (2015-16)I went through a break up, found out I had a silent heart attack, had a stomach ulcer which also had to get tested for tumors, and I realised how I fucked up my life, ran out of fucks to give, I had 2 attempts. First one was a cocaine overdose, a deliberate hot shot that failed, one month later I went to self immolate (my preffered method) but my sister stopped me.

@SW-User You have gone through a lot. I know it will be hard for you to stay positive and stay hopeful. But if you ever feel down or hopeless or heartbroken, please don't hurt yourself. I am here, knock me any time. I'll talk with you.

Does a panic attack count?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Disturbed12 My right eye is nearly blind. It was damaged by an extremely bright flash close to my face caused by an explosion when I was a child. It's essentially like my eye was permanently dilated. Most of the time, the image just cancels out, so it's like I'm seeing with just my left eye, which has excellent vision. But in extremely low light conditions, my right eye can actually see exceptionally well. So completely dark rooms don't bother me much because if there's even the slightest amount of ambient light, I actually have pretty good vision.
Disturbed12 · 26-30, M
@BlueMetalChick Lol, the advantage of having a nearly blind eye 😀. Jk though, sorry to heat that you had to go through that accident in childhood. Anything hurting eyes is super painful 😖
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Disturbed12 It could have been worse so I'm lucky.

Ya...many. People. Cause I'm too emotional and take everything close to heart .
Disturbed12 · 26-30, M
@SW-User I always feel like it's a curse to feel more emotions. Because people are not so empathetic. They don't understand while I'm being hurt.
SW-User
@Disturbed12 yes. Very sensitive and too emotional for this world. That's why not giving a f. Is a blessing for me and like a dream come true lol
Disturbed12 · 26-30, M
@SW-User How did you manage to do that? I can't go in the state of "not giving a f" even if I want to!
XReaganX · 26-30, F
Having one now that'll just get worse
Disturbed12 · 26-30, M
@XReaganX Don't say so. Your condition will get better, just stay strong!
SaraxKay · 26-30, F
I've had a few the past few days. My emotions are strong and when they get intense it's too much to handle. I want to learn how to disconnect my emotions from my experiences so I can be better.
