Are there violent gangs you know of in your neighborhood?

Nope, But I have bobcats, coyotes, black bears, snapping turtles in the water ways, copper heads, and rattlesnakes in the forest around my farm, does this count? LOL

There aren’t in the area I’m in. Good location. It’s mostly older folks. Further down the road, there’s a lot of drug-related stuff going on, though. But that’s not in the neighborhood.

Since decriminalizing drug use in the Seattle area, the addicts need money to keep up the habit. Burglaries and home invasions are a daily thing.

I'm in a rural area so the gangs are more like criminal rings of people who steal farm equipment for fencing, or just methheads who will group up together and occasionally do things people don't like (mostly doing meth and being noisy).

@4meAndyou I just don't think about it since the tv and laptop are the only things of value. Lots of foot, and dog, traffic most of every day go by.

It"s a 3 family house. Anyone going by would have to open the gate on the fence so it seems to create a barrier

@sladejr Where I live, there are a LOT of apartments. We actually received a letter from management not to even go down the hall to dump our trash without locking the door. I guess one woman, at least, got some money stolen right out of her purse which she left in plain sight in her living room, while she went to dump the trash.

Some of the residents here foolishly like to leave their own seasonal trinkets out in the lobbies to decorate for the holidays, and those go missing regularly.

My hometown in Montana had a lot of gang activity going on especially during 2022. Graffiti brought a lot of attention to it, everyone was warning younger people to stay out of the alleyways and don't talk to strangers, etc. (us being in a small town where everyone knows everyone and everything, we didn't really listen) I haven't heard much since I have moved but luckily I get to visit back home every summer 🖤

i hear there are gangs in my city but that most violence in the area is down to "hybrid gangs" or people affiliated but acting on their own. i don't know what that means, completely, but there is very little to zero in my particular neighborhood
