I'm 58 come june I'm getting older. What's something you didn't care about when you were young...

When you get older you consider retirement and receiving a decent pension sadly those who were born after 1967 in Britain will have to wait until their 68 years old before they can receive their State Pension whereas in France their up in arms about having to wait until they reach 64 years old to receive their State pension. I consider pensions I wish I'd left Britain years ago a country that doesn't look after it's old persons isn't a good country to live in now I think I've shocked you.

When I received my first pay check, on it was written my retirement date - 2027.
I never cared about that because it was a hundred years away, so it seemed to me then.
Now I am 61, with the retirement age raised to 67, I care a lot about retiring. Can not come soon enough.

Staying gainfully employed to make it to full retirement. Getting layed off over 50 can be a killer considering so many companies seem to only want 40-somethings and under.
