@walabby The worst part of death is for those you leave behind. Get that sorted to make it go smoothly for them. Oh.. And try not to fall into a meat grinder or larger deep fryer or something like that. Its could ruin your whole day.. 😷
I almost died once and had an intense near death experience, I was ready to die... I was not afraid, it felt good, comfortable and safe.... I still remember it clearly and this experience took away a little bit the fear of dying... not completely, because I hope that I will not have to go until I am old, very old and I wish for a gentle, pleasant transition to this other form of being, where our souls are actually free from pain and suffering and where our loved ones are waiting for us with open arms. :)
True…that is why they used to have so many kids in the past. Also, in some cultures, they used to purposely give weird/useless names to their kids, so that the Lord of Death can not choose those kids, if he ever arrives on their door.
You’re very observant and right bout this, Mugin. We have been in the best of social, economic, health and scientific progress than in any of the past generations combined. Maybe we’re taking too much for granted as a result. @Mugin16
@Mugin16 Oh! I just saw this video comment, Mugin….. 💙💙💙🎶
Bach always brings out the emotions and so gently, and spiritually…. I love how honest and humble those words awaken you to the truth, staring right in the face. Beautiful! *I’m getting goosebumps *
I do not think any living creature wants to go before it's time. I imagine younger men think the way you said because they fear almost nothing.
Thing is, it is like in every grave scenario that xists, it kills men earlier than women. After a while men are probably more accepting of a possible early demise. Not without fear thoug
@KiwiBird My wife and I are older, so the subject of our deaths crops up. She tends to repeat things now, So I often hear that I am not allowed to die first. Now thats all very well. I will go on living as long as I find it convenient.. However, she refuses to contribute anything to the project from her side....😷
@whowasthatmaskedman So your wife thinks about it and brings the subject up in debate or conversation. You have proved my point....it is not Man doing the deep thinking. 🤣
@KiwiBird Of course I do the deep thinking. I know that I could never push her down the stairs....She would probably survive. and if not, no one would ever believe it was an accident...You have to think these things through...😷
I don't know if I've really thought that much about it, but I'm not afraid of it, because I'm a believer. My sister was very brave. She suffered a lot of pain (colon cancer). Maybe her example strengthens me. My mother died three years ago. Given the degree of dementia that she suffered, death was a blessed relief. I was at my friend's deathbed on Monday (lung cancer). Not pleasant, but inevitable.
Thank you@Vivaci. It's part of life. And i don't believe it's the end of life 😊 My brother's grandson was just diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. A smart, kind, sweet young man who just turned 13, so full of potential. Now that is sad.
It's a natural process and it happens to everyone. I'm at peace with that. However, I've never given any thought as to how it might happen. There's no way of knowing this with any certainty.
@Rutterman Idk, just the thought of my loved ones discussing death gives me sadness…like why are they talking bout death when they’re younger than me? Are they depressed? Is it a male thing (testosterones) to think about destruction with such a cool mind?
I like that you haven’t given much thought to the when, but still, preparing yourself for death is HUGE. I don’t think I’ve done that, babeh…Is I ok? 👻
@Rutterman I saw something once that said, I want to die peacefully in my sleep, like my grandfather did. Not screaming in Terror like the passengers in his car.
I don't think it has anything to do with gender and more to do with life experiences. Also I think men are socialized to see their own death as a more acceptable loss and has less intrinsic value then a woman or child's death. Just look at how men's lives are treated historically. So perhaps more men do think about it. In general though, I think the more contact you have with facing death, the more you think about it, I think. Really, I find I'm more morbid then anybody I know. I have no fear of dying.
@Vivaci Also... maybe this impression comes from your tendency to talk more to guys then girls online? I mean... most people tend to talk more to the other sex. Because I know women that express that fear too.
😹 We’ll discuss about women but then we don’t want to take away the limelight from y’all. I mean, sure….once in a while, you people also need to feel like y’all are ahead of us…no? 🤪 @Kwek00
@Vivaci Not sure... I'm not like that. I don't really care who is the better sex honestly, that information doesn't change the concept of my personality.
It's all part of the process. Actually for me it helped me live my life more fully. I'm an existentialist so this is it and it is short and yours to do with as best you can
@Vivaci Don't worry you are young you don't even have to think about death until you're in like your 90s or sumptin. Girls live on average ten years longer than guys.
I continue to think about dying and how I'm going to be dead someday....and I'm still scared of dying. If I live another 15 days, I will be older than any male ancestor on my father's side of the family
Lady Death had cancelled our dates every time she was supposed to come. She had the most creative excuses for. Seems she friend zoned me for years. She still have the power but not the charm over me.
Holy fudge man…..😩 You are right…I think we won’t even know till that happens, right? And then it won’t matter…
Have you written about this? Please tag me whenever you write about it….don’t say anything now though…I’m just shaking after reading yours and taco bell’s comments 😥@ChiefJustWalks
I grew up in a very bad area where blacks would just as soon shoot you, stab you or beat you to death with a club. I learned early how to fight with the intention of convincing them I was not a person to mess with by the age of 12. I was shot at three different times, had two attempts with knives and one with a club but things did not end well for them. Three friends died due to these types of acts, two friends died from overdoses of drugs or alcohol and two committed suicide. I never expected to live past 18. However I would not trade the way I grew up for the way kids are growing up today as they are whimps and are being educated by liberal academia which turns them into sheep.
@Vivaci only one really effects me like pstd. Sometimes I just break down crying when I see something that reminds me of the event. I felt so hopeless when happened it...I'm legit a little emotional right now..the others just give me nightmares once in awhile. I seriously have someone looking out for me. I'm calm now, I don't take much risk in terms of physical ones
@HoochieTheClown true, I got bite in the neck by a dog. Luckily it didn't bite me too hard but I was bleeding. It was crazy because I was just petting the thing and it snapped. It was my friend's dog and I think it was a rottweiler. The ride to the hospital I just freaked out. Imagine dying because your friend's dog snapped... Life and death can happen at any minute. Alot of People claiming they are ready to die have never been in a life or death situation
I can feel your emotions from your words, bruh… Don’t think about it too much. Just be grateful to the Lord for saving your life. May you live past 100 yrs…🤗💙💖🙏🏼
You know it’s the grace of God and many times it brings in great fortune and happiness, along with God’s blessings.
I’m reminded of Actor Amitabh Bachchan who has also been through a few near- death experiences, one of the most fatal of them was in 1982, during a film shooting. He turned 80 last year and is considered a legend in the Indian entertainment industry.
I didn’t mean to spoil your holiday mood…hope you’re having fun in Canada 🇨🇦 🤗 @empanadas
