I've seen homes like that when making deliveries for a construction supply company. There was one house that had the living room sectioned off with fancy velvet ropes and brass fittings attached to the entrance wall. LOL

@rinkydinkydoink 🤔no not a good idea when you have a cat that climbs all over the furniture they will get dirty and damaged by the claws

I was joking about your pet vs the doilies. Sorry if I said the wrong thing.
My late wife and I enjoyed the company of dogs big and small as well as 2 cats. Each and every pet was a joy. All the dogs had different personalities. Not so for the cats.
