I've had the same employer for 24 years. How about you?

Top | New | Old
No longer employed there but 15.5 years. Would have made 18 years now. When I see the people who I worked with there since the beginning, they don’t seem any older now than they did all those years ago.

@Gingerbreadspice They don't age?
@Bumbles Doesn’t seem like it.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
Other than a brief period in which I was laid off (which doesn't count), I've had the same employer for 34 years, although I've only been in this particular job for 13.
Bumbles · 51-55, M
@DunningKruger Long termer! What kind of work?
DunningKruger · 61-69, M

I've been at my current for about a year and a half now I think. I used to work for them back in 2015 though, so it's like a total of 4 years-ish with a long gap of other jobs in between.
Bumbles · 51-55, M
@DDonde Why did you leave the first time?
DDonde · 31-35, M
@Bumbles Burned out really badly. The reason I agreed to come back was because they moved to being WFH
