Favorite Christmas movie

I like this one because Michael Caine did a great job as Scrooge. Scrooge’s mother died giving birth to him and his dad never forgave him plus his sister who he was close to died in childbirth and his girlfriend dumped him because he loved money more

@rinkydinkydoink I guess it is a watch LOL But seriously, I didn't see it for the first time until I was 31, my late ex fiancee loved the movie and got me to watch it with her on dvd, I spotted it instantly when George sat down, Jane's jaw dropped because she never noticed it before despite her bragging she had seen the movie at least 30 times by then.
@NativePortlander1970

The director was one helluva complicated man. It came as a HUGE shock to me that the movies he made - often disparagingly called 'Capra corn' - or flag-waving slices of Americana - were directed by a staunch conservative republican who despised FDR and thought Mussolini was the cat's pajamas. Plus - he was an informer during the 1950s commie witch hunt days.

Well, you had a great eye. But I doubt if that object ever came up for auction you'd never bid on it even if you could easily afford it - - right?
@rinkydinkydoink I would not touch it with a 100 foot pole, I may be an Atheist, but I am no dummy when it comes to objects of evil.
