Oppinions and suggestions needed

Ive decided that Id like to decrease the amount of free time I have and do something useful. However I decide what Id like to do.

What would you guys think would be better to do? Volunteering at a charity, starting another hobby or something else?

I enjoy volunteering at a charity. You meet some people, and you gain a greater appreciation of the difficulties that some people face. Plus, you feel like you helped somebody.

@exexec also, I imagine that its satisfying since it produces value.

@KioCo That is true

Definitely volunteering at a charity. Volunteer opportunities for your local area can be found with a quick google search, so you can choose among available and convenient options.

@4meAndyou thats a great idea, thanks

Make time for all. In all honesty, the answer lies on you. What would be worth getting up to and lose time for doing nothing?
KioCo · M
@Casheyane I wish I could. Id be running up and down all week though xD

Starting another hobby, you could possibly make money at maybe.
KioCo · M
@WillaKissing That would be the ideal, however I somehow doubt thats it'll be easy to find

Well helping out people always feels good the question is is what is your intent for charity?

Some people help out at food boxes some people help doing visiting in prison or maybe mentoring a child or a group.
How can we decide this for you??? Only you know what you want to get out of it...

@HootyTheNightOwl asking more in the sense of what you guys would do.

Dont want to make a decision only to realise that I overlooked a few good options 😁

Well... I think you should create a list of life changing goals and use your extra free time to collect opinions from random strangers on the Internet. Then, when you look back think of all the fine and favourable memories you will have.

Get a job and earn some money for yourself.
KioCo · M
@tallpowerhouseblonde dont think thats possible. My current job requires me to stay later at times.

And its unlikely that id be able to find anything thats only required for a few hours per day.
tallpowerhouseblonde · 36-40, F
@KioCo Ah okay.Well at least you have a job.Just make sure you get paid for extra hours.
You can take up self defense, keep fit with gym classes, buy a games console, take extra education classes for example college or get a degree. The most valuable commodity you have is time and it needs to be used wisely.
KioCo · M
@tallpowerhouseblonde exactly, thats why Im uncertain which to try xD.

If only we didnt need sleep, maybe we could get everything we want to done.
Volunteering is a great way to change things up. I’ve done different things over the years sports clubs, community organisations, charities. Feeling connected to a community is good for the soul.

It is worth asking are you a people person in which case group/ volunteering at things works or if not individual hobbies. Volunteering is quite a big area so it is worth thinking what areas/ interests you have.

Volunteering at a charity is always nice. It just makes you feel better when you give back and help others. 🙂 Plus you can make friends doing that too. 🙂
