Last week the CDC in America said that only 6% of all the reported covid deaths were from covid alone. All the others also had other serious health issues like diabetes, hypertension, pneumonia, etc. When they passed, they were counted as covid deaths.
Clearly the number of covid deaths are over stated. IMO it's being done to scare the begeezus out of the public, get them used to following orders - 'for the good of the people'.
Same with masks. Depending on 'wind direction', even Fauci will admit that masks doe nothing. IMO - the masks a simply visible markers that you are or are not following instructions 'for the good of the people'.
@GaVmarts He restricted flights, not stop them. People were entering from all over the world anyway. He denied it was a problem for weeks. You should follow him on Twitter, like I do. Straight from the horse's mouth, not the press.
Alex Berenson wrote a book, available on Amazon, entitled [u]Unreported Truths about Covid19 and Lockdowns[/u]. If you should buy it and/or read it, you might find some shocking number play at work.
@GaVmarts Because it involves self-discipline, effort, and long term planning something that goes against the grain of social conditioning. But, following the crowd is often a direction for ultimate failure.
@lou502008 I think so too. Even in the UK , the left wingers suppoort a lockdown and more draconian measures. They don't seem to care that ordinary peoples lives have been destroyed by this insanity
"Only" Covid-19 is not a very good indicator for the general population. Yes, people have at least one additional co-morbidity factor, but that could be hypertension, diabetes, heart issues, cancer in remission, immune system issues, asthma, etc. all things that can be managed for decades until people essentially die of "old age" (yes, I know, a misnomer).
What many; especially politicians, like Cuomo of NY don't want to be truthful about regarding covid-19, are the number of non related covid-19 deaths that are listed as such.
@GaVmarts What I have heard more than once, is that increased numbers is a money maker for health facilities. True or not, I can't say, but if so I wouldn't be surprised.
@Platinum The NHS forced old people into care homes becausethey though there was going to be overcrowding in hospitals. The Nightingale hospitals were a waste of money . The hospitals were never more than 50 per cent capacity.
Sir tom gave them millions and there was millions in donations , it's not been mentioned where it went....they should have put the elderly into Nightingale...as you say wasted...the majority of the elderly dying was from other problems and not covid...
@Graylight The more people that are tested the more cases come to light. Here in the UK they say that cases afe as high as they were in April. However , tests in April were only carried out in hospitals.
