Do you think COVID 19 will end soon?

I miss doing activities and hearing about events. It’s so dull now. I feel so bad for the 2020 graduates. I hope I’m able to graduate high school next year. I’m the class of 2021. 😔

it will once Trump is re-elected. it's proven to be fake now
AutismGirl18 · 18-21, F
@FreestyleArt I was told not to panic and it’s going to make things worse and I shouldn’t be afraid to leave the house and it’s okay to get out of the house as long as we wear our masks.

@AutismGirl18 you're still under the system

Sadly it's not going anywhere for a while, though some places have managed to control its spread very well. There are reports of vaccines being available from this October to the end of the year to this time next year.
It'll only really be over when we find a good vaccine, treatments to stop it being serious or fatal for those that do catch it or until it naturally mutates to be less serious, if that happens.

I seriously can't wait for it to go away. I miss long distance hiking, quiet pubs and noisy gigs. I miss being able to visit my family, I miss confirmed financial security. I miss the cinema. I miss being able to do a load of shopping and just put it away when I get in. I miss the gym.

Since approx 2016 I've had a bucket list. I've been slowly ticking off bits and bats from it. But at the end of 2019 I said to myself "right, 2020 will be the year I seriously tackle my list." Then boom, Covid-19. Gutted. Got a holiday to Tokyo in before it went rampant and a couple of shorter local hikes from my list but all the other good stuff I'll have to forgo. For now it's concentrating on" read this", "research that" and "learn about the other". All good stuff otherwise it wouldn't be on the list but the more interesting stuff like "have a hot air balloon flight", "walk the entire Ridgeway Path", "have an archery lesson" and "see the summer solstice at Stonehenge" have all gone by the wayside, to be replaced by a vague sense of anxiety over my economic future and the fact that I might die by drowning to death in my own lungs.

No, I don't. Because Americans have become so inherently self-involved and socially inept, and because tRump, we will be saddled with it far longer than we would have if people could understand why we need to voluntarily work together to help each other.
FlowersNButterflies · 61-69, F
@AutismGirl18 Exactly so. People refuse to science, and they refuse to trust experts. That is dumbing down America. Dunning-Krueger Syndrome.
AutismGirl18 · 18-21, F
@FlowersNButterflies Yeah. My dad and siblings weren’t kidding. The world isn’t nice and sweet. It’s cruel 😔
FlowersNButterflies · 61-69, F
@AutismGirl18 Can't disagree. It has its' merits, but we have to strengthen ourselves from the inside out or it will overcome us.

If people get serious about it and stop playing game, it could.
November 4th.. youl never hear of it again..
No I dont...

...but on the upside, Covid is slowly teaching dumb people what happens when they vote in complete retards to rule their countries...

...
AutismGirl18 · 18-21, F
@Mandalorian Retards? That’s not very nice to say but people are being stubborn.
@AutismGirl18 Covid is a good thing...its going to make people start to think about what is real and what isnt...
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
They're currently working on a treatment. But no telling when it will be available.
AutismGirl18 · 18-21, F
@DearAmbellina2113 Oh good! I hope they do so this disaster will end soon so we can get back to our regular lives! People have been so mean and snappy since COVID 19.
Not sure about soon but no virus will live forever even if we find no cure.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
It will end after the election in November
purplepen · 51-55, F
@cherokeepatti What about in other countries? Canada, for example.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
I don’t know what’s going on in Canada except heard citizens are starting to get BLM literature in their mail
Bastard · 26-30, M
God, I hope so.

Adamski24 · 41-45, M

It's going to evolve to defeat lockdown and isolation. Then we'll really see politicians go hysterical.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
I think this is our new normal. This virus is not going anywhere any time soon
Powderflask · 31-35, M
Doubtful but can't fix everything
AutismGirl18 · 18-21, F
