Do you think COVID 19 will end soon?

I miss doing activities and hearing about events. It’s so dull now. I feel so bad for the 2020 graduates. I hope I’m able to graduate high school next year. I’m the class of 2021. 😔

Sadly it's not going anywhere for a while, though some places have managed to control its spread very well. There are reports of vaccines being available from this October to the end of the year to this time next year.
It'll only really be over when we find a good vaccine, treatments to stop it being serious or fatal for those that do catch it or until it naturally mutates to be less serious, if that happens.

I seriously can't wait for it to go away. I miss long distance hiking, quiet pubs and noisy gigs. I miss being able to visit my family, I miss confirmed financial security. I miss the cinema. I miss being able to do a load of shopping and just put it away when I get in. I miss the gym.

Since approx 2016 I've had a bucket list. I've been slowly ticking off bits and bats from it. But at the end of 2019 I said to myself "right, 2020 will be the year I seriously tackle my list." Then boom, Covid-19. Gutted. Got a holiday to Tokyo in before it went rampant and a couple of shorter local hikes from my list but all the other good stuff I'll have to forgo. For now it's concentrating on" read this", "research that" and "learn about the other". All good stuff otherwise it wouldn't be on the list but the more interesting stuff like "have a hot air balloon flight", "walk the entire Ridgeway Path", "have an archery lesson" and "see the summer solstice at Stonehenge" have all gone by the wayside, to be replaced by a vague sense of anxiety over my economic future and the fact that I might die by drowning to death in my own lungs.
