Entirely understandable. All I can offer is that I’ve dreaded medical treatments too.

The down side is pain (can they put you out for this procedure?).

The upside is breathing. Eventually less pain.

Hang in there.

I remember my dad, when a nasty boil erupted on his butt. He described the unpleasantness and the pain, but added “I don’t have a boil anymore.”

That’s the goal, right?

Once your nose has been reset into it's proper structure, you will be able to breathe properly again through your nose. Yes, you will be starting all over again, but at least it will heal into the right shape this time.

Be as brave as you can in front of your older boy. He picks up on that stuff.
