Life is a book...

.. and one day you turn the page and discover it's BLANK! The scripted story doesn't continue, so grab a pencil and start filling in the blanks. A PENCIL with an eraser on the other end.

I wish I'd listened to what father told me.
@GeniUs I've had a few nights out where I've mixed and matched.
Never been too much of a problem.
Tennants Export though!🤯 What were you thinking! 🤣

@Mindfulness Flavour, that was the mission. I learned my lesson going out and drinking strong beers, got to drink the session beers if you're going to stay the course.
@GeniUs It's a learning curve we've all been on.

If there's a toilet in your dreams, don't use it!

Treat others the same way you want to be treated.

When he gave me the car keys to use the family car for the first date with my girlfriend when I was driving, he told me, "Remember, when you are driving and she is in the car, she is the most important person in the world."

If you come across a toilet in your dreams, do not use it.
GeniUs · 56-60, M
@Thevy29 That'd be like that time when I was a child and I dreamt I was being chased by a polar bear and then it pissed in my bed. Let me stress it was definitely the polar bear that pissed and not me.
People will either lift you up or drag you down. Be careful who you hang out with!

It was the best at school and at work..."Always do the maximum, not the minimum". My work ethic got me a job during a couple of hiring freezes.

A summation of all past advice...

Life is change. Everything changes. Change is neither good nor bad. Only you change your own direction. Yet that doesn't mean you can control the exact direction.

You can't save the world.

(Which meant save the things you can.)

My father once told me when I was very young, "Don’t say anything about someone that you wouldn’t be willing to repeat in their presence." Simple, but it’s served me well both in school and in the workplace. 😄

Always be ready with a plan B
And work only finishes when it's done

Lastly, it's all in the mind. Take it out and feel the difference
Don't do business with scoundrels or weasels.
