What is the best advice someone gave you?

@Mindfulness First time I saw that was from Thrud the Barbarian (comic strip), he followed it up with, "I say my man have you completed your chores?"
"What chores?"
"I'll have a pint of bitter please."

@Mindfulness I'll have a pint of Hobgoblin Gold please. Now I want to find a pub that has it on tap because I've never had that from a bottle it's nice though.

@GeniUs Can't fault your choice, it's a very nice pint, I'm more a Brewdog Punk IPA man myself, but a bit of variety is good for the soul.

@Mindfulness I've tried Brewdog beers from the supermarket and I'm not fond of any of them but they were all in tins and I always think that spoils the flavour so I'm not writing them off yet.

@GeniUs There's a few Brewdog bars in South Wales, so I've been lucky enough to try it on draught.

@Mindfulness This made me laugh I bought and drank 4 different strong beers and I'm pretty sure by the third I was on a different plain of existence! I can't remember what they were for sure but at a guess I'll go; XXXB, Old Peculiar, Speckled Hen, Hobgoblin.
If I'd topped it off with the King Goblin it would've probably killed me. You know I should try this as an experiment again.

I've tried them all, been a long time since I had an Old peculiar. I'll have to revisit it.

@Mindfulness Did you have them all one after the other (same night) ? That's what does the damage.
Tennants Export might have been there. I think it's the mixing that does it not the alcohol content.

@GeniUs I've had a few nights out where I've mixed and matched.
Never been too much of a problem.

@Mindfulness Flavour, that was the mission. I learned my lesson going out and drinking strong beers, got to drink the session beers if you're going to stay the course.
