The wife will literally be bouncing up and down holding her legs together because, instead of going to the bathroom, she will start doing some menial task that, according to her OCD, has to be done right now. I keep having to tell her, "Stop. Go to the bathroom."

My wife does the same. I don't know why she just doesn't go.

I used to do this when I was younger. Now before I leave to drive anywhere I make sure to use the restroom.

I do aswell as in can’t be bothered to get up at the time or if I’m in the middle of something, only have had an accident when I was shoveling snow and I was all bundled up and thought I was good to finish up and hit a piece of ice and there the bladder went🙈😂

Never! That can be really harmful for you, like really! People have died from getting UTIs or other issues from holding in their need to piss.

I don't hold it myself...if i feel to go then i go... sometimes i stop only when i am busy with any other job...

Sometimes kinda don’t have a choice when on a long road trip and the next rest stop is further than preferred

In my job (freight train driver) that's a very common thing because most locos don't have an on-loco toilet safely accessible when the train is moving and stopping the train so one (or both) crew members can have a PNB (personal needs break) is not often pissible (see what I did there?) so we often have to wait hours. For female train crew it's a bit more complicated as they can't have do a 'snakes' when the time is right.

No. It's possible this is how I developed kidney stones when I was a kid. I deliberately didn't drink as well so I didn't have to visit bathrooms.

One must never do that.... It puts pressure on your kidneys to hold the urine and may result in kidney stones or disease.

Yeah I do sometimes.. only do this when you need too because if you just do it just to do it you'll get an infection
