What usually happens when you expect good things to come your way?

I got comfortable, I had expectations and reassurances good things were going to come my way. Let's just say that was a huge mistake I won't make again.

Too much happens for me and a seizure comes my way, thus my brain puts me in the dark and I ain't gonna know what happens after that.

I don't expect. I prefer to 😴.

Disappointment usually happens when I expect anything good or bad. So I fired myself as director a long time ago. I show up, try to do what’s expected or in front of me and let God provide the results. Goes a lot smoother that way.

I don't expect anything you give what you get. Give good vibes out comes back. Bad ju ju trying to just let things flow. TRYING .... found unhappy ppl drop bombs so I don't. Create my own expectations safer that way.

I start paying closer attention to my surroundings and find things that fit within a range of what I originally wanted.

They told me cheer up, things could be worse. So I cheered up, and sure enough, things got worse

I gave up on expectations long ago, they only lead to disappointment.

Either they come, or neutrality comes.
I am grateful either way.

I never expect maybe hope and if something nice turns up I feel very lucky.
