What's more important? Posting or replying?

Probably replying. Posting tends to be more self-serving while replying tends to be more about validating and advising others. I don't mean self-serving in a bad way, just your own threads are usually the therapy hour.

I've thought a similar question. But what does it really matter? Just let others do as they want. I might say it's nice if a person has at least a few posts so you know who they are.

Lol…… I don’t post at all. Just a decision I made after returning here and having been on Q&A sites since 2007. Did enough posting in my day. Just don’t feel the need.

I reply much more than I post. I've just started posting again after 6 yrs.

I think everyone should just do as they feel. I post a fair amount but that's just to empty my head of the madness 👀

I think either is fine. Just whatever you’re comfortable with.

I don't post very much and don't usually get much response when I do.

I post far less often than I reply. Basically, I wait until I think I have something to say, amuse or otherwise positively contribute before posting.

I'm starting to reconsider the importance of either.

Finding a balance makes for a more enjoyable experience.

I do more replying than posting

I used to post 2xs a week to entertain :) now ima comment person and only post for a reason like an personal update or if i really need to express something like calling out MAGA for one of their numerous crimes

if nobody posts then it there's nothing to generate conversation

In the overall grand scheme it has to be posting. There can be a post without replies but there can't be a reply without a post.
