What was your main reason for coming to SW?

A friend from EP brought me here. We dated for a bit before she moved. I was on EP for ages. Loved the site. Went there initially while researching “sexless marriages”. There was a great group in EP that we all shared our stories and various degrees of “suffering”.

I was lonely and depressed and sick. It was mostly for support. I don’t really need the support anymore but I do still vent sometimes lol

I was invited back in 2018 by a friend who was here when it was still EP. It sure helped me so much during pandemic.

I remembered this site when I was thinking about sharing some struggles on Reddit. I prefer the format here

I was on EP until it closed down, at about the same time I started new employment that also included a very busy active social life. So, I didn't join SW for a few years, although I had and still have a couple of EP/SW friends on Facebook that kept asking me to join.

Loneliness and sexual frustration. Not the best reason but the most honest.

I was only on EP for a very short time before it folded. Then about a year later, I was missing it and decided to google "experience project replacement". And that's how I found Similar Worlds

I came over from EP. Joined there because I was disabled and lonely. All these years later, both of those things still hold true haha.

I had been an EP alum. A poster who had been my friend there let me know about SW. I joined in June 2016.

I was seeking answers to my silly questions ,also a place where I could express myself without being judged .SW is a wonderful platform that way

I was an OG from EP. EP was discovered in a search for unhappily married forums.

I miss EP.

I got lost on my way to school and found myself here

To see what the new incarnation of EP was like. SW was different: colder, less personal, full of memes and pictures, with people less willing to engage in deep conversation.
