@KarenKC You're pointing me again to the post which I've read, I'm getting to the point where I'm going to shrug and say you just don't get it. BTW have you ever been screened for Autism, apparently we're all on the spectrum somewhere and I feel I'm at the lower end (maybe 2/10 of functioning autists) but (and I'm no professional) I'd suggest you're around the 5/10 level.
@GeniUs From what I've been told, autists (if that's the correct word) are hopeless when it comes to correct English. A friend of mine discussed it with the mother of a boy who had autism. It has absolutely no connection with insistence on correctness.
I wouldn’t delete anyone’s reply, only my own. I’d find it odd that someone would say they don’t want to carry on with the comments, I would just stop replying but I don’t think I would block someone either.
Somebody's taken the time to answer you and then you delete their comment using the excuse they don't want to continue the conversation. But you're censoring what they did write, now anybody who views that conversation won't be able to follow it. I'm pretty sure you won't acknowledge a problem with that but it's the foundation of the Big Brother society in 1984.
@GeniUs That is not what I meant and you know it. Why is everyone trolling me over this? If people wouldn't post meaningless, incomprehensible rubbish then I wouldn't comment on it because it wouldn't be there for me to comment on. That's logical.
@KarenKC Mate, I've just looked at the posts you've started and apart from the music videos it's just you complaining about other people's grammar and other tedious issues. You told me you were here to stop trolls but the way you are approaching it; one sided stories; deleting comments; etc, etc. These are the actions of somebody trolling the whole message board maybe that's why it looks like you are being trolled. BTW did you have a job where you were never questioned because you seemed surprised that anybody would be audacious enough to say anything to you you don't like. I've seen this behaviour most noticeably in civil servants so that'd be my guess.
I'm a bit confused tbh. What exactly was the situation? 1. I was having a conversation with someone. 2. they told me they didn't want to carry on with comments 3. I deleted their reply 4. I blocked them Is that what happened?
...Why would I do that? I wouldn't delete their replies in this situation.
People try my patience all the time I just ignore it. The only way I will block you is if you've said or posted something disturbing or disgusting. Such as pedos and racists, otherwise I won't even waste my energy blocking you.
@KarenKC About 100% yes. They want to get to you and if they can't see that they are, they quickly move on. make up your mind not to even open the message.
@KarenKC I've had a few I myself blocked because of their intentional trolling aggravation and deleted every reply they made in the thread and my replies to them. I wanted them nonexistent to any readers of the post.
