Would you block someone just because you deleted their reply after they said they didn't want to carry on with the comments?

@Musicman I deleted it because the other member said she didn't want to continue the conversation. I thought I was doing her a favour by ending it that way. What did I do wrong?

@KarenKC Nothing if that's how you feel. I personally don't delete stuff, but that is just me. Other people do actually read the comments.

@KarenKC I've had a few I myself blocked because of their intentional trolling aggravation and deleted every reply they made in the thread and my replies to them. I wanted them nonexistent to any readers of the post.
