Maybe u are just getting too worked up and thinking too much about that.. 🤷🏼♀️

It's definitely rude to just walk away from any conversation. This is what I've been on about the last few days when I keep posting about the lost art of conversation. I wonder about these kids who were going through their prime development stage during Covid... I bet their social skills will be practically non-existent. Yikes.
Royrogers · 61-69, M
@DearAmbellina2113 I can understand a lack of experience in social skills but the need to adhere to them should be a thing learned through family
Montanaman · M
Good conversations are rare and few between. I crave them. 😫 🤗🌹

No, it doesn't make you old-fashioned. It is very rude of them.
I am not impressed either by people who regard their 'phones as more important than the others in the room with whom they should be socialising.

Not old fashioned at all, it’s just plan rudeness 🤷🏻♂️
In a real life scenario you don’t just walk away while talking to someone 🤷🏻♂️

GlitterBug · 22-25, F
In person? No, that's rude. Online or in text? I think that's the point of it. Pick up where you left off whenever you get a chance.
AkAtSUki · F
I don't understand why ppl start a conversation with me only to just walk away in the midst of it. Like wtf lol. Ppl are weird.
RobbyLong · M
They are rude.
But you’re a hot burrito!

I generally try to do so. That said, I often have multiple ones going at the same time and I forget to say good bye to one of them
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
I text when I can. I text in between doing things. I think in general that’s the norm.
I havent had it happen to me but maybe they just do not have time
Darin99branch · 51-55, M
It’s just rude. Does not make you old fashioned, just considerate.

Maybe they're busy and have to go...they could say so though
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
I always tell people when I'm leaving
Carissimi · F
It’s impolite to say the least.
dale74 · M
Did they have a prior engagement or appointment somewhere else but they still should have explained where they had to go and that they enjoyed their conversation with you and hope to continue on at another time
bijouxbroussard · F
Online ? I’m used to that. Real life beckons, especially for folks with kids.

In person that would be weird as heck, online I could understand because life happens.
HannahSky · F
Text, people do it while doing something else. Talking in person is different I hope.
LondonCowboy · 51-55, M
One should always have good manners when conversing with Others 🌹

I know what you mean, I feel the same way.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
I try not to do that. I could be at work or doing something at home when something unavoidable crops up, but apart from that, I aim to be considerate
MethDozer · M
Actual conversations or text convos.
Starting and stopping out of nowhere is the whole purpose and advantage of text.
