What are imaginary friends like?

I kind of had an imaginary lover when I was 5-6 but it was more like I dreamed about being in love with someone all grown up and I used to reinact if re live the dream and conversation in the waking world. I had quite an imagination as a kid lol.

I was never a people person so I had an imaginary dog. I didn’t see him with my eyes. I felt him and saw him in my mind.

Those are the best kind of friend.... they just do whatever you want them to do.. ;)

Like most of husbands I once had an imaginary wife.

I had one named Sylvia. She was a girl of about 12, with really long brown hair, a white dress, and a red headband. For some reason she was always barefoot. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I saw her as plain as I could see anyone else.

The only problem with them is that when we talk they always seem to be a bit out of touch with reality. 🤷‍♂️

i had imaginary friends from the age of 24 to 27... i could see and speak to them....

I tried to have one when I was a kid, but gave up because I couldn’t see anyone (I’m counting that as lucky nowadays). I never did have too great of an imagination, though.

I had one growing up. Yes I swear I could see him, sometimes I still do.

My imaginary friend never left, even when I told it to. 😰

I’ve never had an imaginary friend, I’ve been always a down to earth kinda person. I stopped believing in Santa at age 6. That’s kinda sad though 😢.

Like anything you like.....me, I had a pet hippopotamus, right up till the time my grandparents took me to a zoo and I saw a real one. 😜
