Actually my sister DID come home and find her husband dressed like this. She was shocked, but then she started helping him dress up the way he wanted. ⭐
@Peaches I would imagine that most women would not react that way. But it is nice to hear that she was so understanding and maybe that he would be more understanding of just what she has to go through to look the way she does.
@Peaches i appluad your sister. They are jusy clothes. Nothing more. Fabric and colours. Neither fabric or colours have a sex. There are plants and dye. She , that is women, wears whatwver she wants and so should he.
I think boys / men should be able to wear dresses if they want to . So that being said I’d be surprised then I’d say you look different in that but it looks great on you. You aught to wear more like that .
I'd tell them to get a belt, on e that is a bright color, to give that dress some pop. Unless they are going to a funeral.
I'd show then how leggings and tights are oft better than stockings, hose or bare legs, esp on older men whose veins blue and green , show. Burnt rose leggings would be nice with that. Burgundy leggings in the Fall.
I's show then about 10 ways to tie a scarf than may be more apt for the at dress, as that cinches then neck to much. It is a male ties of a scarf. Which is what they would be- but some feminine ties may be better.
I'd show them some creams that take away the lines on his hands and also ones that make the elbow gap he has not so noticeable.
A half Cardigan, which are stylish right now, I'd tell him to get. But to remember black and blue are a fashion faux pas.
Lastly, work on your posture and back arch-and watch the positioning of the hands. Open hands, feminine, slightly clenched hands, masculine
@ReneeT My 90 year old mother would say "it's too young for you". screw that! I don't see age as she does. I dress as a woman of 28-36. I'm 62. Why? Because I can (pull those looks off) and because I have the shape and attitude for it!
I’d have to say my first reaction would be shock, or surprised I know I might have a question or 100 lol but in all honesty it would not change my opinion of them or my love for them. They are still after all the same person inside no matter how they dress on the outside.
@Angeleyez That is what I would hope they would say. It is only clothes after all. And if they feel comfortable in them without causing harm to anyone. But I would imagine there would be at least 100 questions about it! lol.
@ReneeT exactly! The clothes don’t make the person the heart does. And yes there would be questions, I’m sure more questions would be asked of the b/f or hubby, because both of us would have to understand what both are comfortable with, are they willing to compromise some in order to accommodate the other. After all neither party can have it their way 💯 of the time in the relationship wheather one is a crossdresser or not. If the two can meet in the middle then awesome if they cannot then maybe it be best for each to go their own way. That said even if we couldn’t compromise (ex: if my husband or b/f was cross dressing I wouldn’t have a problem with dressing up, but I wouldn’t be comfortable if he wanted to have sex with men. No I have no problem with homosexuality, however I’m a monogamous person I ain’t sharing with another woman or man lol)
@Angeleyez I know that myself when I am dressed what I would love to do most is to have some real conversation with other women. I don't really have any interest in being with a man when I am dressed. I do feel myself more in touch with my feminine side when dressed and that is one of the main reasons I would love to sit down and have a meaningful conversation.
I'd be so happy for them that they could finally come out. I know coming out as Bisexual to my parents 20 years ago was the most difficult thing I've ever done. My dad's my hero and my Mom's my best friend & I was terrified they wouldn't love me anymore. 🦋
If it were a loved one like family, I would be disappointed that they hadn't told me long ago. If it were my husband, it wouldn't happen. I don't have one. And the ex? He never could accept the fact that he was gay. But everyone figured it out. And I divorced him. He lived a lie his entire life. And people shouldn't hide secrets of this magnitude from those they claim to love. People have to be who they are. I wish people had the courage to be themselves always. It saves a world of pain for others.
Lately I have been much more daring and going out dressed as a lady more and more... I think I want to get caught by someone I know... just to see how they react !!👗
Surprise, possibly shock, probably mutual embarrassment at first anyway... For me, out of your list, it could only be brother or friend. I would not criticise him for it though.
