Remember the days of Tupperware parties?

Oh yeah, went to a few of them. I didn’t have a lot of money back then but would buy one thing or set of things. That’s what most women did that attended them. Never went to an Avon party, they had them in the dorms every year for freshman girls as an activity if they wanted to come to them. The person who was selling it would give a lot of free samples out. I went to a stainless steel cookware dinner with my aunt one time at my aunt’s friend’s home. She didn’t order the cookware because it was expensive. But we got a free dinner. I think chicken, a veggie, and pineapple upside down cake.

I remember when the Rainbow vacuum cleaner was huge back then, like it was a big deal if you had one of them. Now we just have a Shark vacuum cleaner and I think it works so much better than the Rainbow ever did.

Yes. My wife hosted one. She also hosted a Southern Living Party (I think) and participated in a lingerie party.

My wife did Aloe vera partys for many products. Never made any money at it

For girls, something like Undercoverwear parties were a thing here. No idea if that kind of thing still exists but maybe it does to sell sex toys, etc.
