It has long been postulated that aircraft don't actually fly anywhere, merely those vertically and Hover in place, waiting for their destination to appear below them...🤔

@Convivial As I suspected Ma'am, and I think you will find that these very aircraft are actually fuelled by water so it costs nothing but the 'man' does not tell you that and has used 5G to make us pay £/$ thousands to prop up the lie that the Earth is not flat.
Convivial · 26-30, F
@AndysAttic yes, the obvious link between "5G" , Gravity and the cost of breakfast is there and easily found for the erudite amongst us

Doesn’t work that way as you are already moving at the same speed of the earth when you jump. Example, next time you fly once at altitude, jump as high as you can and stay airborne as long as you can. Most airlines fly at around 600mph. If you were airborne for 1 sec, the plane has moved approximately 880 feet. But because you were at speed when you jumped you land in the same place, not smashed in the rear of the plane.

No dude let's say the speed of rotation at the equator is 1000 mph or 46 metre/sec. then you and everything else at the same point is moving at that speed. You jump vertically and your forward velocity is still 46 m/s not zero , so you do not land any distance away. (Conservation of momentum. look it up)
According to you a helicopter can just take off and hover and wait for the destination west of him to come by!
LOL. As my father would say a little knowledge is a dangerous thing!
