The first time I heard similar was a lawyer’s commercial. I’ll never forget it was a medication I was on off label. I was doing my nails and heard, “have you tried to commit suicide since taking..” I was like, what did they just say??
I was taking it for nerve damage. It was given for depression or anxiety.
@LILY61I think it was more so for those taking it for anxiety or depression.
Wow, that’s really incompetent. And horrible. Luckily the pharmacist caught it. I’m glad you’re okay.
My pharmacist freaked years ago when my neuro prescribed a sleeping med that as he described was too strong for a man 3xs my size 🤣 I don’t fall asleep easily, even still. But I was careful and started w/lower than that Dr suggested.
@MellyMel22 i have had very bad experiences with most doctors. i have alot wrong with me because of severe child abuse. so now i look stuff up before i go to the doctor
Anti-depressants are always the best. "Once you've taken this drug and gone white water rafting and mountain climbing with your friends you might have feelings of wanting to off yourself"
@Trav2024 horrible stuff. makes you gain weight so that your blood pressure is worse. you can't take anything else...there are creams that you aren't supposed to use even and you are not supposed to eat BANANAS!
I dont laugh but it makes me definitely not want to take them. I heard once from a commercial that the product might cause internal bleeding as a side effect for depression...like naw i would rather be sad
You have to at least chuckle hearing the voice guy try to speak at the speed of light in order to mention all the possible life-threatening side effects of the med in the time provided.
@DancingStarGoddess when it is obvious like "nodoze" i laugh. but some must be named after a person..."the John Smith drug to help you feel average..."
